Policies

Booking Appointments ~
All services are scheduled by appointments ONLY. Please try to schedule your appointment at least 2 weeks in advanced as appointments fill up very quickly. To guarantee the availability of your next appointment, it is recommended that you reserve your next appointment at the end of your service.
Please note: I do accept same day appointments if my schedule permits, however I highly recommend scheduling an appointment in advance.
Cancellations/Rescheduling ~
To better serve the needs of all of my clients, I request 48 hours advanced notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. If appointments have been cancelled or rescheduled without a 48 hour notice, your deposit will be forfeited.
Deposits ~
All clients must leave a non-refundable deposit when making an appointment. Services under $75 require a $10 deposit and services over $75 require a $25 deposit. Deposit are applied to your service. All deposits are good for up to one year provided that the client abide by the cancellation policy. Deposits can be made via PayPal. Click here to leave a deposit.
Punctuality ~
My clients’ time is very valuable to them and to me. And so is my time. I pride myself on being on time to service my clients. I greatly appreciate your punctuality so that all of my clients can be accommodated at their scheduled time. When one client is late it delays all other clients scheduled for that day.
If  I have to wait more than 30 minutes to service a client, there will be a $10 late fee attached to your bill so that I can compensate the inconvenienced client as a courtesy. I understand that circumstances may arise that impact your arrival and I will do everything possible to accommodate you.  However, in extreme cases, it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment.
Traveling ~
All appointments within 5 miles are will not be charged a traveling fee. Anything beyond 5 miles will be charged $0.50 per mile. I travel within a 50 mile radius of Irvington, NJ.
Hair Detangling/Take Out ~I require that all clients have their hair detangled PRIOR to your appointment. If you have braids or any added hair, you must have it already taken out and detangled PRIOR to your appointment. There is a fee of $15 per hour for detangling and take out services.
Correcting a Style ~
I am not perfect. If for some reason you have a problem with your style (i.e. twists coming out) please let me know within one week of your original appointment. Anything done after the one week period will be charged a discounted touchup rate.
Credit/Debit Card Usage ~
I am happy to provide my clients with the option of paying by means of a debit or credit card. There is a service charge for ANY debit/credit card usage. 2.7% per swipe and 3.5% to key in card numbers. If you would like to avoid this fee, we recommend that you have cash on hand.
Children ~
Most of us have children. I do. As a mobile stylist I understand that I am coming to your home when your children may be home. I ask that your children not distract me from servicing my client. Please make sure that you don’t have to stop to care for your children. For example, stopping to give them a bath, feeding them and/or doing homework. Basically, if you have small children, please have someone home who can care for them.
